More Pressure Washing Jobs is an independent site for owners who want a fuller schedule without signing a contract to find out whether something works.
Who writes it
Steve Meitler is the editor. He has spent years running marketing for local service businesses, exterior cleaning and pressure washing companies among them, and has watched too many owners buy leads and "guaranteed rankings" without ever being shown a number they could check. Everything here is written to be checked. Figures from our dataset are labeled as such. Estimates from running campaigns say so.
Where the benchmark numbers come from
The benchmark report is built from public Google Business Profile listings. We run Google Maps searches for pressure washing companies in every US state, collect only the public fields on each listing (review count, rating, website link, hours, category, city and state), remove duplicates by Google place, and compute the statistics. Nothing comes from behind a login and no personal details are stored. The dataset currently holds 27,078 listings across 51 states and is refreshed monthly. At that scale collection errors are unavoidable, so read every figure as accurate to within a point or two, not to the decimal.
One quirk worth knowing about this niche: 14.6% of listings have no rating yet, which is much higher than in trades like plumbing. Pressure washing has a steady stream of new one-trailer operations entering every spring. That is why the median review count sits at 9 while the top decile sits at 103.
Editorial rules
- No pay-to-play. Nobody can buy a mention, a link, a recommendation or a ranking on this site.
- Every number is sourced, either to our own dataset or to a primary source such as Google's own documentation. Opinions are marked as opinions.
- Guides are written for an owner who is standing next to a running machine. If a step cannot be done by a busy owner in an evening, or handed to one office person, it does not go in.
- Prices in guides are typical US ranges from real quoting, not surveys. Your market will differ.
- We update guides when the platforms change, and we date every update.
How the free trial works
The site is funded by the marketing work we do for companies like yours. We offer every service as a free 14-day trial because an owner should watch the phone ring before paying anyone. You text or call, name the service you want to try (Google Ads, Meta ads, AI search optimization, local SEO, a website, social media, review generation, missed-call text-back, email and SMS, bookkeeping, or appointment setting), and we set it up inside your own accounts, usually within 48 hours. It runs 14 days. No card is on file and nothing renews. At the end you keep it at the price quoted up front, switch, or stop.
